Baby Guinness
Baby Guinness: Coffee liqueur and Irish cream liqueur. Served in a shot glass. Garnish: none (traditionally served ungarnished).
The Spec
- 30 ml Coffee liqueur
- 15 ml Irish cream liqueur
Method
Layer in a chilled shot glass. Pour the coffee liqueur in first (fill roughly two-thirds to three-quarters), then slowly float the well-chilled Irish cream on top over the back of a bar spoon (or down the inside wall) so it settles as a pale "head" resembling a miniature pint of stout. Keep both liqueurs cold to help the layers separate cleanly. Serve immediately.
Served in a shot glass. Garnish: none (traditionally served ungarnished).
