Gin and Tonic

Gin and Tonic: Gin and Tonic water. Served in a collins glass. Garnish: lime wedge.

The Spec

Method

Build in glass. Fill a chilled tall glass with ice, pour in the gin, then top with tonic water. Stir very briefly (or not at all) to preserve carbonation, and garnish. Note: pour tonic gently over ice to keep the bubbles intact — best practice is ice first, then liquid, rather than the proposed order of liquids-then-ice.

Served in a collins glass. Garnish: lime wedge.
