Hurricane
Hurricane: Jamaican-style aged blended rum, Passion fruit syrup and Freshly squeezed lemon juice. Served in a hurricane glass.
The Spec
- 120 ml Jamaican-style aged blended rum
- 60 ml Passion fruit syrup
- 60 ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Method
Shake all ingredients with ice, then strain into a hurricane glass filled two-thirds with crushed ice. Churn/stir, then top with more crushed ice so the drink fills the glass. Serve with a straw.
Served in a hurricane glass. Garnish: orange slice and cocktail cherry (the proposed recipe omitted a garnish and only listed a straw; the classic serve is garnished).
