Curaçao punch
Curaçao punch: Orange curaçao, Jamaican rum, Brandy, Bar sugar, Lemon juice and Soda Water. Served in a wine glass.
The Spec
- 2 oz Orange curaçao
- 1 oz Jamaican rum
- 1 oz Brandy / Cognac
- 1/2 tbsp Bar sugar
- 2-3 dashes Fresh lemon juice
- about 1 oz, to top Soda water
Method
Build in the serving glass: dissolve the sugar (or syrup) with the lemon juice and ~1 oz soda water, stirring until clear. Add the curaçao, rum and brandy. Fill the glass with crushed or shaved ice and stir. Optionally float the cognac on top. Serve with a straw. (Corroborated by Fine Art Bartending; matches the gotrum/Jerry Thomas 1882 build.)
Served in a wine glass. Garnish: orange slice and a cherry (seasonal fruits as desired).
