Hugo cocktail

Hugo cocktail: Mint leaves, Elderflower syrup / cordial — or elderflower liqueur as a common modern substitute, Lime, Soda Water and Prosecco.

The Spec

Method

Add gently muddled mint to a chilled large wine glass. Squeeze in the lime and drop in a slice or two. Fill with ice, add the elderflower syrup (or liqueur) and a splash of soda water, then top with Prosecco. Stir briefly to combine and garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.

Served in a wine glass. Garnish: mint sprig and a lime wheel.
