Caesar cocktail
Caesar cocktail: Vodka, Clamato juice, Hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Celery salt, Freshly ground black pepper and Lime wedge.
The Spec
- 45 ml Vodka
- 120 ml Clamato juice
- 2-3 dashes Hot pepper sauce
- 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 pinches Celery salt
- 2-3 grinds Freshly ground black pepper
- 1-2 wedges Lime wedge
Method
Rim a tall glass with celery salt: run a lime wedge around the rim and dip in celery salt. Build in the glass — add vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire, a squeeze of lime and the pepper, then fill with ice and top with Clamato. Stir gently, or "roll" the drink between the glass and a shaker tin to mix without aerating (never shake — it foams and over-dilutes). Garnish and serve.
Served in a collins glass. Garnish: celery stalk and a lime wedge (celery-salt rim). optional pickled bean, olive, or bacon..
