Batanga

Batanga: Blanco tequila, Lime juice, Cola and Sea salt. Served in a collins glass. Garnish: salt rim (affixed with lime); optional lime wedge.

Method

Rim a chilled Collins/highball glass with salt (rub the edge with a lime wedge or lime juice and dip in salt). Optionally dissolve a pinch of salt with the lime juice in the base of the glass. Add cubed ice, pour in the tequila and lime juice, then top with cola and briefly stir (traditionally with a lime knife).

Served in a collins glass. Garnish: salt rim (affixed with lime); optional lime wedge.
