The Spec

Method

Build. Pre-chill the clay pot (cantarito) or a Collins/highball glass; if using an unglazed clay pot, submerge it in cold water for ~10 minutes first. Optionally rim with Tajín or salt. Pour the tequila, orange juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice and pinch of salt into the ice-filled vessel, stir briefly, then top with chilled pink grapefruit soda. Serve immediately.

Served in a mug. Garnish: citrus wheels or wedges (orange, grapefruit and/or lime), commonly with a tajín or salt rim.
