Grog

Grog: Navy rum, Lime juice, Sugar syrup, Chilled water and Angostura Bitters. Served in an old-fashioned glass.

The Spec

Method

Shake all ingredients with ice, then strain into an ice-filled rocks/old-fashioned glass. (Historic naval grog is simply built in the glass/mug over water.)

Served in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish: lime wedge or wheel (traditionally a squeezed lime shell).

Spec held as sourced — Difford's Guide. The house never guesses a drink.
